pyrO Posted March 16, 2007 Posted March 16, 2007 Hello to everyone, My first time in this forum. Just wanted to say that I finally got Flaming Cliffs and it's great. It's a bit overwhelming but hopefully I get the hang of it. If anyone has any tips like which mod to install and where to go for more information I would appreciate it. Thank you everyone and Eagle Dynamics. 1
S77th-konkussion Posted March 16, 2007 Posted March 16, 2007 This is the best place for info. If it's not here directly- it's quickly provided via a link, etc. [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=43337&d=1287169113[/sIGPIC]

Aeroscout Posted March 16, 2007 Posted March 16, 2007 Yup. Please note, if you havent installed the newest patch, you might want too. You can find that here: http://lockon.co.uk/index.php?end_pos=135&scr=products&lang=en Please note, you need to have this patch to play online, but with it, you cannot watch many of the training missions. I would watch the training missions first, learn their material, and then install the patch. DCS Wishlist: 1) FIX THE DAMN RIVERS!!! 2) Spherical or cylindrical panorama view projection. 3) Enhanced input options (action upon button release, etc). 4) Aircraft flight parameter dump upon exit (stick posn, attitude, rates, accel, control volume, control-surface positions, SAS bias, etc). 5) ADS-33 maneuver courses as static objects. 6) Exposed API or exports of trim position and stick force for custom controllers. 7) Select auto multiple audio devices

pyrO Posted March 17, 2007 Author Posted March 17, 2007 Thank you for all the welcome. The aircrafts I'm currently flying are the mig and the su27. I'm not sure which one I like better but I have a long way to go in terms of learning the instruments and radar. Hope to see you soon on multiplayer. I'm having problems with Hyperlobby I cannot get it to detect Lock On but once I do I should be one easy target for all.
Aeroscout Posted March 17, 2007 Posted March 17, 2007 While the AI is somewhat chalenging at first, you begin to realize there is a set way they have with beeting you. (or trying to) explit that and yo will win every time. (if your good enough. and that's easier said than done.) but when your up against aircraft that can "think" it's much different. It's not easy. I'v had the game for almost a year and I still consiter my self a n00b.
