It all comes down to how well the AI is programmed. Unfortunately, no matter how well it is programmed, it will eventually become easy to beat because it will respond the same way to the same situation. A human opponent is inherently unpredictable (most of the time) which makes a huge difference.

(Based only on what I've seen so far) I would wait until ED models a paraglider and gives the AK-47 loadout option before expecting any serious challenge from an AI-driven SU-25.

 

I may be putting myself ahead of my learning curve there, but I'm looking forward to finding out!
