cancan699 Posted May 15, 2018 Posted May 15, 2018 This is something I always wanted on DCS; I really believe that the camera mouse movement is too strict, not realistic at all - what I would love to see is an actual camera movement that reflects the natural head movement of a pilot - which means something really smooth and not instant. I'm not sure about how long would it take to implement it but I do not think that it might take too long. If you are not sure of what I mean try to have a look at this video notice how smooth and subtle movements are and now compare them to the rough DCS mouse camera.
Mig Fulcrum Posted May 15, 2018 Posted May 15, 2018 I'm agree with you, moving the camera with mouse in f2 and f11 is pretty awful, i wish the do a more "cinematic" moving. But you bring the wrong example because in the video you posted the usere is using a trackIR or something else.
Mars Exulte Posted May 15, 2018 Posted May 15, 2018 You're asking for mouse smoothing then, yes? Де вороги, знайдуться козаки їх перемогти. 5800x3d * 3090 * 64gb * Reverb G2
draconus Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 (edited) This does not make sense. I can move my head almost as fast as I move the mouse. I also move my eyes too which makes it exactly like an instant view direction change. Why would you slow down my pilot when you can smooth the move of your mouse however you wish? Making the pilot head not having freedom of 350 degrees around would be far more realistic wish.
