kaglecom Posted May 15, 2018 Posted May 15, 2018 Does anyone know how to assign the CH Pro Throttle Mini Stick to some function in DCS? It would be nice to move the cursor around in either the American or the Russian targeting systems. I cannot get DCS to recognize the mini stick in any Axis Assign function. Thanks for any insights!
Mr_sukebe Posted May 15, 2018 Posted May 15, 2018 For me, works when I go via the Analogue Axis options 7800x3d, 5080, 64GB, PCIE5 SSD - Oculus Pro - Moza (AB9), Virpil (Alpha, CM3, CM1 and CM2), WW (TOP and CP), TM (MFDs, Pendular Rudder), Tek Creations (F18 panel), Total Controls (Apache MFD), Jetseat
ac5 Posted May 15, 2018 Posted May 15, 2018 I tried to use it many times, you can assign axis to it, but now I use it only as a "button" pushing it to the inside. Sokol1_br Posted May 15, 2018 Posted May 15, 2018 I cannot get DCS to recognize the mini stick in any Axis Assign function. Sometimes DCS axes assignment applet don't detect the axis movement of some controllers. In this cases just select the axis by name in drop down menu, in the column under controller identity:

I found that in order for it to get assigned to an axis, one needed to move it fully fore+aft or up+down before it appeared, once done you could tune it. If you only moved it marginally, or just fore but not aft, or down but not up as well; then it'd not get assigned. kaglecom Posted May 17, 2018 Author Posted May 17, 2018 Where do we find Analogue Axis options, Mr Sukebe?
kaglecom Posted May 17, 2018 Author Posted May 17, 2018 Thanks, ac5. I didn't know that it was also a button.
