Wingnutt270 Posted May 25, 2018 Posted May 25, 2018 I have noticed A: sometimes it will not fire, have to deselect and select it again to fire B: when locked the target ring/sight does not go where the target actually is. C: after firing one the sidearm the tone studders and the next will not lock unless you deselect and reselect the weapon. I know these things were recognized as bugs when the module was an alpha, but they still seem to persist. or is it just me?

Roll in on a sam site, waiting for lock.. waiting... sam fires... waiting... LOCK! missile wont fire... because... no reason whatsoever, hmmmm lets deselect and reselect then try agaBOOM! DEAD..
Headwarp Posted May 27, 2018 Posted May 27, 2018 (edited) Was experiencing something like this in the SEAD practice mission. First sidearm gets a lock tone but ring is aiming at something closer to me than the sa-8, fire, no kill. Play the same mission again and sidearm locks sa-8 and nails it. Second sidearm won't acquire lock either time, even while the first missile is in flight and the sa-8 is launching at me. May try uninstalling and then reinstalling the module as someone said it helped them with some bugs in another post, although I don't believe he mentioned this one specifically. Here is my experience so far: Cannon: Air to ground cannon not working unless I select stores, air to ground, and select 'gun' in the top right corner of the MFD. Before I just switched to guns and selected air to ground mode. Mavericks: When firing mavericks the TV screen stays open even after selecting IMRV and IMRV not showing on the HUD correctly, so I have to attack a target with both my TV and TGP screens open (FPS BURNER!) Sidearm: Sometimes fires, sometimes works, sometimes doesn't fire at all, locks and doesn't move on target or reset audio cue after pickle. 4.8 I7, 1080, TMW&T, SSD, VKB MK.IV.
