freezing please help

in dcs 2.5 open beta i get a hard freeze every time where the game wont respond ive tried all the fixes and have no idea what to do now

Have you tried deleting metashaders2 and fxo folders from Windows C. / Users / your name / Saved Games / DCS?

Try going to C:\Users\USERNAME\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Logs and deleting everything in the Logs folder. Someone had recommended this before and it worked for me if you haven't already tried.

We have a freeze reported with the hornet when using fuel tanks.

 

looking at your log I would reinstall Persian gulf also as I see lots of errors

Thanks for the replies i tried both of those and still no luck the game just stops plays sounds and stuff but nothing else could it be the hornet or the map ?

 

pc specs are as follows

 

amd 8320

 

amd rx 390 8gb

 

16gb of ram

 

2 240gb ssd

1 500gb hdd

 

windows 10 64bit

 

i also put DCS on its on ssd drive

I have the same issues, and I have tried all the known solutions to no avail. I have both Beta and Stable set up, running on the exact same settings, stable runs perfectly with excellent fps and multi aircraft and vehicles on a very heavily modified map, Beta freezes all the time even using a basic map with just 2 aircraft on it.

 

It takes time to fix things so I run Stable for fun for now and use beta to see what is going on, it will get better I'm sure.

yea im seeing that now looks like no hornet for now which sucks i was really looking forward to flying it.
