Is such thing possible right now with the DCS Harrier or only in the A-10C?

DCS Wishlist: 2K11 Krug SA-4 Ganef SAM, VR-TrackIR icons next to player names in score-chart

PvP: 100+ manual player-kills with Stingers on a well known dynamic campaign server - 100+ VTOL FARP landings & 125+ hours AV-8B, F-14 crew, royal dutch airforce F-16C - PvP campaigns since 2013

DCS server-admins: please adhere to a common sense gaming industry policy as most server admins throughout the industry do. (After all there's enough hostility on the internet already which really doesn't help anyone. Thanks.)

Harrier's AGM-65 is laser Guided, not EO.

Laser Must remain on target through weapon impact.

EO Maverick is Lock, Fire, Slew, Lock, Fire.

Yes, sorry for not being clear in my post, I meant using the AGM-65G version (EO version).

Only in the A-10C ATM. Waypoint editing is a new addition and Mark/Target Points are WIP.

In theory, once implemented, the Harrier will be able to slave the Maverick to the INS and step through Mark/Target points, switch to IRMV, uncage, lock, fire and repeat.

It's still to be determined, how easy or practical it is in the Harrier, over just using the IR sensor to rapidly acquire targets.

IMHO stepping through Mark/Target points is better used for JDAM's, etc. than rapid firing of Mavericks.

EO Maverick is Lock, Fire, Slew, Lock, Fire.

The Harrier supports AGM-65E (laser) and AGM-65G (IR) Mavericks.

The AGM-65G is fire and forget, just as in the A-10C.

By everyone once the module is more complete. We don't actually know how easy it is going to be until more progress is made on the module.
