The zip file has a folder as it's final entry called 'SpitfireClearGlass.zip\Mods\aircraft\SpitfireLFMkIX\Cockpit\Textures\Cockpit_Spitfire_LFMkIX_Textures' which contains 2 files. Now, the original ED same path contains a zip file called that, not a folder. That zip file contains the same 2 files being replaced. However, when I use OvGME, the folder from the mod just sits next to the original zip file. I see no difference in the cockpit glass with the mod now. Can someone advise if the above is the way things should be? Stonehouse Posted September 8, 2018 Posted September 8, 2018 (edited) Pretty sure a recent patch broke the folder named the same as the zip method. So you now need to actually make a copy of the zip and then inject your mod files into it and use jsgme or whatever to overwrite the zip file in the game folder. Hopefully ED will revert whatever it was soon so the named folder method works once again. If you look at the last few pages of Mustang's terrain thread you will see discussion of this and also that Mustang's mod now is a large download instead of a small set of replacement files. The problem of course, is that the OvGME file will have to be updated with every DCS update, otherwise the wrong (outdated) files will be transferred when enabling the mod.
