It's my favourite go to jet, it's just so smooth to fly, great agility and just fun. And, albeit simple A2G modes either CCIP or CCRP, it can still be an effective platform for ground targets.

We tested on a multiplayer server, and the GBU's will actually see a laser from the Harrier on code 1168, so buddy lasing is possible it seems. Install WatermanPC's dynamic sound mod from the library and it just makes it one of the best modules.

Even if you use it for a2a only M2000 still may feel like its lacking a bit if compared to a module like the Hornet in A2A tech features, and even to other FC3 ac.

1) Limited missile count to a maximum of 4 ( only 2 of the stations of can hold Medium range SARH 530D missiles)

2) No Contemporary Active Radar guided medium range missile to the Aim120 Amram, or R77

3) no off boresight capable IR missile or HMD ( or monacle)

that being said if its the only full fidelity frontline aircraft that the OP doesn't have, but wants to fly something new ? i suppose it is a viable purchase, and it certainly is a a very nimble dogfighter for WVR

Yep, Mirage 2000C RDI is Cold War era variant. A time when even the mighty F-15 used Fox 1 :smilewink:

Mirage being roughly half the weight, there is no shame carrying half the payload...

It is a nice jet but... razbam put it aside.... just see updates for harrier and new products.....

After DCS 2.5, many bugs appeared.... and none corrected until now...

S530 missile range stills pff.... worse than an aim9L.... 10nm or less....

Radar looses the target when S530 is almost hitting it...

GBU24 doesn't lase... ate least it explodes hahah...so...release it as an mk84

INS bombing was working well before the 2.5v. Now.. it releases the bomb before the right point...

I would like to see this jet finished... but i think it never will...

think about and make your decision...

it is a nice jet to fly... very stable... strong engine.... has a lot of fuel (anapa - batumi with AFB on with 3 ext tanks)....nice FOV from cockpit... easy to learn... but....

You should read the manual to learn how to use the S530, it has a range very similar to the AIM-7

And the GBU-24 was not made by Razbam but by ED, AFAIK nothing that Razbam can do about, pointless to blame them for that.

You are using it wrong, Max range against maneuvering target is around 18nm, you can do 20nm+ against non-maneuvering target. High PK starts at 14nm IIRC.

The missile is best used at 20+ kft and high speed.

And radar works really well for me, if your radar lock drops it means that your target is notching and you are in a bad position compared to your target
