SnowTiger Posted August 9, 2018 Posted August 9, 2018 (edited) So I have had the Spitfire since it was released but today is the first time I have sat in it, hoping most of the bugs would have been resolved by now. So I started with the Startup Procedures Tutorial. When I get to the part that directs you to "push the control stick fully forward and fully aft" while checking the control surfaces, the Tutorial does not progress from that point. My Stick does in fact move the control surfaces (full deflection up/down) but nothing I do allows the Tutorial to progress. I guess I'll have to Park the Spitfire for a bit longer. OH and BTW - The Canopy Open/Close controls seem to be Backwards ! ED Team NineLine Posted August 9, 2018 ED Team Posted August 9, 2018 I can't reproduce this issue, checking controls full forward and aft work fine here. Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**
SnowTiger Posted August 9, 2018 Author Posted August 9, 2018 So you are saying that after you move your stick full forward and full backward the Tutorial continues ? Because I did that 3 separate times now and nothing happens. The message remains in the upper right corner (the instructions) and I can move the stick, forward, backward, again and again. Forward and Hold. Backward and Hold. Left, Right, All Around. Still nothing happens. The control surfaces all move as they should but the Tutorial does not continue for me. I'll try Another Repair and see what happens but I'm am very confident that it is Not Me. Do you by chance have any curves on your controls that might affect how much it travels? Seems just fine here. Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**
Art-J Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 (edited) SnowTiger, the script will work if you move and hold the stick in each extreme position for a while a couple of times. Also, later, when asked to move rudder trim wheel all the way to the right, use mouse to do it, as it won't register movement done by keys or buttons (if you assigned trim function to these). SnowTiger Posted August 11, 2018 Author Posted August 11, 2018 Art-J's instructions got me through this Tutorial yesterday. The Tutorial has all sorts of issues as far as I'm concerned. I had to use my Keyboard to get through much of it. The secret to the Pitch control test is to Push and HOLD and then Pull and HOLD for a few seconds. Anyway, I'm through it. Won't do it twice.
