shaggy Posted August 22, 2018 Posted August 22, 2018 Looking at pictures of potential aircraft I want to make skins for in DCS I can see that some have a big nose cone, which I guess is just a cover for the propeller mount? Is that already implemented in the DCS YAK, and if not would it be possible to add it in the future? IvanK Posted August 23, 2018 Posted August 23, 2018 (edited) Many Yaks in the west have a 2 bladed Whirlwind prop fitted these have a large spinner. In addition the 3 bladed MT prop as modelled in the Sim irl comes with 2 spinner variants the small one we have in game and a larger much better looking one. 2 Bladed Whirlwind with large Spinner: Edited August 23, 2018 by IvanK

IvanK Posted August 24, 2018 Posted August 24, 2018 An image of two YAK52's of the World famous Russian Roolettes Formation aerobatics team :) one with a standard prop the other with a two bladed whirlwind and large spinner. https://www.russianroolettes.com/
shaggy Posted August 24, 2018 Author Posted August 24, 2018 It looks so much better with the spinner! Idk if ED doesn't implemented the aerodynamic change of the spinner to the FM. Just visual option would be great. joey45 Posted August 24, 2018 Posted August 24, 2018 #1000 I think The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.
