Hello

I am not sure if this is a bug, but it feel that way.

Yesterday while under SA11 fire i fly below 20-50 feet above the ocean and my speed was about 500.

All of a sudden the plane started to loose height and i pull backwards on the stick but it was impossible to break loose of the "suction" from the presure inbetween my f18c and the ocean. Right before i crash i pulled the stick 100% backwards but all i could see and feel, was that the plane was sucked down.

Im not expert or know if this is realistic or not, but i do understand that near the surface presure is created that create lift for example helicopters and other types of planes such as the russian Ekranoplan that uses the presure of the air to stay airborn close above the water.

Anyway is it realistic the f18 is sucked out of the air and into the ocean ?

Normally ground effect will give you more lift so may be a bug.
