dr_After Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 Sorry, if this question was asked before. I would like to know if there are some templates or recommendations for TM Warthog to control Hornet (which is great, BTW!)
Jezzer Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 Sorry, if this question was asked before. I would like to know if there are some templates or recommendations for TM Warthog to control Hornet (which is great, BTW!) Try Chucks F18 guide for getting setup. Can be found on the page below, along with all the other very good guides. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=135765 J System: I9 9900KS 5.0GHz : 2080Ti : MSI Z390 GODLike : 32Gb Vengance 4000MHz DDR4 : Samsung 970 1TB Evo Plus, Samsung 950 Pro 512GB : ViewSonic 4K 32" Windows 10 : HOTAS - Warthog : TPR Pedals : HP Reverb Pro
E-Rock Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 There are a number of user made templates in the user file download section. I just referred to the real Hornet HOTAS layout and transposed them as close as possible to the Warthog, and used a bit of creativity for the extra switches on the throttle unit.
S D Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 As always with controller profiles, i would recommend just coming up with your own. Alot of western aircraft are similar enough that the majority of buttons can be the same across platforms. But setting up your own will start to train your muscle memory, using other peoples profiles which can be very different, you will spend most of your time trying to remember what does what.
autracer Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 I recommend programming your hotas in game, do not use target. Best way for me. Gesendet von meinem SM-G960F mit Tapatalk
LeCuvier Posted October 5, 2018 Posted October 5, 2018 The attached Excel file documents my bindings for the TM WH Throttle, VPC T-50 joystick base (with TM WH Grip) and DSD button box. Not using Target software. The sheet "View" presents mostly data edited on other sheets.Input_Config_FA-18C_TMWH Grip_T-50 Base.zip LeCuvier Windows 10 Pro 64Bit | i7-4790 CPU |16 GB RAM|SSD System Disk|SSD Gaming Disk| MSI GTX-1080 Gaming 8 GB| Acer XB270HU | TM Warthog HOTAS | VKB Gladiator Pro | MongoosT-50 | MFG Crosswind Pedals | TrackIR 5
Gosche Posted October 8, 2018 Posted October 8, 2018 Super good file :-) How did you manage to get your TDC slew (x-y) bound to the TDC "joystick"?. I have tried and failed...so for the moment I use the coolie hat, but for some reason it gets "stuck" after moving it to far to the right (on a target), and want to adjust the slew the other way. Will really appreciate your input :-)
BuzzU Posted October 9, 2018 Posted October 9, 2018 The TDC X-Y slews are axis. You do it in the axis assignment menu. Buzz
