  1. Your gonna need some imagination here :) Your Scouts just discovered a column of tanks heading toward the airbase, use the comms menu (F10) to call for assistance. Very simplistic mission created using the ME. Latest open beta callstrike.miz
  2. Take a look at this thread, in particular post #9 This worked for me as I was having a similar issue to you. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=287604
  3. Good stuff  Cheers
  4. Hi, So far I have manage to get rid of the reflections in the F18 & Heuy. No time for the other modules yet. See this post https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=4237362&postcount=5. An official in game option to turn them off would be great. Please ED
  5. Well I’ve answered my own question :smilewink: I have manage to remove the canopy reflections in the Hornet & Heuy for 2D & VR for both single player & the Hornet only for MP (only tested against 2 servers). Done without changing any DCS files, here’s how. I believe all the 3dgimoto tool is doing is simply not loading the particular shader the controls the canopy reflections (the shader may well do other things that I have not noticed). Download the 3Dgimoto V1.3.16 from github : https://github.com/bo3b/3Dmigoto/releases 1. Download 3DMigoto (version 1.3.16) from GitHub. 2. Extract the archive into a temp directory. 3. Copy all of the contents of the X64 directory to the same directory as your DCS executable (the game directory will end in something like "C:\ … \Eagle Dynamics\DCS World Openbeta\bin"). 4. Download the attached .txt file and rename it "d3dx.ini" (without quotes). 5. Download the ShaderFixes.zip and unpack in a temp directory these 3 files are then copied to the Shaderfixes directory. 6. Put the downloaded & renamed file "d3dx.ini" in the same directory that you installed 3DMigoto (replacing the default d3dx.ini file). C:\ … \Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\bin". 7. To remove simply run the uninstall.bat file you copied to the bin directory. 8. Start DCS as you would normally. I got the idea from another forum of another game that also has some shaders the some folks prefer not to see. Disclaimer  I am not a programmer and what I know about shaders you could write the back of a very small postage stamp. I have no clue if this changes anything else in DCS or has any other effects positive or negative. But seems to be working for me YMMV. I'll be working on some of the other modules l8r  d3dx.txt ShaderFixes.zip
  6. Hi, Anyone know of a way to turn off/get rid of/minimize the canopy reflections which are in many of the DCS modules ? Above pic (Latest open beta) shows them on the left hand side. Cheers.
  7. Try LeftCTL & KP1 That's what I use, could not get it do anything from the Oculus tray tool.
  8. TF-51D Instant Action mission Flight Over Tbilisi - FPS for both tests mission start straight & level Open beta 82 - 90 FPS Release 80 - 90 FPS Subjectivly Hard to tell OB & release apart at mission start. 9. Brilliant that did it, working fine now :) Many thanks. Cheers J
  10. Created a dedicated DCS Server which seems to be running ok. Tried to set up a SRS server so that when anyone joins the game they are automatically logged into the SRS server (provided there running the SRS client). Created the following folders called Scrips & Hooks Path to folders = C:\Users\xxxxxx\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Scripts\Hooks Created file DCS-SRS_AutoConnectGameGUI.lua in above folder with the following line SRSAuto.SERVER_SRS_HOST = "my.ip:5002" -- jezzers dcs server (used my real ip address and tried without the port) Started SRS Server Started DCS Server When connecting to server I do not get autmatically connected to the SRS server, however if I join a server which has this feature my SRS client gets connected automatically, but when connecting to my server no such luck. Looked at logs from DCS & SRS but don't see anything obvious. I can however connect manually to the SRS server with both local and real ip's I've missed something somewhere but after searching and googling I have not yet found an answer. Any help/pointers appreciated. Cheers
  11. Same problem here, thx for the tip. all working again now :) J
  12. Tks for the tip, worked like a charm, flew the mission before and thought I was doing something wrong. J
  13. A very simple VoiceAttack profile for jester/F14B Select jester menu by saying : "jester" :) For the second menu : "jester menu 2" For the options from either menu :- Say "S one" or "S two" up to "S Eight" Download & unzip place the .vap file in voice attack apps folder which is usually c:\Program Files (x86)\VoiceAttack\Apps This profile can then be imported into your current VA profile. Feel free to amend/change as required. J Jester-RIO-Profile.zip
  14. So far it's "Glug Glug Glug" when I eventually figured out how to "Use the force" When attempting to a2a refuel.
  15. Had to turn it off in VR, was only rendering in the right eye. (Oculus Rift) any know if this is intended or a bug ? J
  16. Try Chucks F18 guide for getting setup. Can be found on the page below, along with all the other very good guides. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=135765 J
  17. Excellent thanks for this. A, Failed miserably , C :D J
  18. Thanks for this, found I had a clash with GTX 1070 & sound controller, both now moved changed to MSI mode and system DCS seems to run smoother, no empirical data though......
