probad Posted October 5, 2018 Posted October 5, 2018 is this really real? amazon and apple both vehemently denying this. hard to tell who is telling the truth anymore. https://www.apple.com/newsroom/2018/10/what-businessweek-got-wrong-about-apple/ https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/security/setting-the-record-straight-on-bloomberg-businessweeks-erroneous-article/
Mouse_99 Posted October 5, 2018 Posted October 5, 2018 It is the opportunity tht hurts Whether SM or any other company has been victimized is irrelevant as China has control over the inner workings and the opportunity to continue working from the very basic inside position, one we knew and why most of our military are built by home grown companies. The weakness there is they also depend on getting cheap Chinese parts to fatten their bottom line and as a result exposing ourselves to foreign intrigue and manipulation. China has been doing it for decades, taking every laptop from incoming business men and doing whatever they wish to it before returning it, and now, this is just another logical step.
BitMaster Posted October 5, 2018 Author Posted October 5, 2018 For my perception, and it's been for me like this for many years, THIS is just one tip of a huge field of icebergs, one of many.
