Rudel_chw Posted October 5, 2018 Posted October 5, 2018 Hello, For some reason, the photos that I try to use as DCS wallpaper came up way too dark .. does any one know how to adjust the Gamma of DCS' GUI ? .. The Gamma on Options -> System only affects the in-game graphics, not the GUI. This is how the photo looks on Windows desktop: and this is how it looks within DCS: Something similar happens with the kneeboard .. photos that look fine on Windows, look too dark in-game. Does anyone know of a fix or workaround? Thanks, :) For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB

Rudel_chw Posted October 5, 2018 Author Posted October 5, 2018 Are you using any reshade or sweet fx filters? No, not at all .. just the nVidia and Oculus drivers :( For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB

Rudel_chw Posted October 6, 2018 Author Posted October 6, 2018 Tomorrow I will uninstall the Oculus drivers and try again to start discarding probable causes. If that doesnt work, will try reinstalling the nVidia drivers. There has to be some cause :) For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB

Rudel_chw Posted December 20, 2018 Author Posted December 20, 2018 Have to check the kneeboards tonight, because this dark images where also on the kneeboard, tough there I compensated by brightening the illustrations in ms word before converting into pdf. I hope that step will not be necessary anymore :) For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB
