There all got the N019 Sapfir 29 ?

The MiG-29(9.12) has the N019 "Rubin" radar, while the MiG-29S(9.13S) has the upgraded N019M "Topaz".

Yes this is my question, INGAME there is twoo radars or just one ?

Yes, they are slightly different. The S is slightly longer range. Alternatively, you could just... like... test it.

Should be quite easy to test difference of radar. MiG29 A and G should not have the TWS2 mode.

That is for upgraded radar on the MiG29S, allowing it to fire two R-77 at two different targets. The MiG29S radar might also have a bit better range.

The most distinct differences is more fuel and ECM on the S version, along with R77 capability. Some more options in the ground attack department aswell.

I did several tests but apparently there is no difference in radar range between the MIG 29A and the MiG-29 S.

On a F15C coming "HOT" an altitude of 20000 feet, I hang the radar signature with both versions of the MiG-29 still at 70 km, no diffrence for me !

I think that the MiG-29S's radar does not conform to reality and uses the same data as the MiG-29A.

Normally with the radar of the MiG-29S, I should have a radar catch about 90 km or even 100 km on the f15c coming face to face.

N019M "Topaz"

~ 90km range for detected fighter

Azimut: -65°/+65° <130°

Vertical: +60°/-38° <98°

Did you set the radar to operate in High PRF?

Anyways, it is not really a radar made for searching on your own. GCI would give steering instructions to pilot, radar operating instructions, weapon selection etc.

But, if the radar has 90km range it would be nice if it has the same performance in DCS :)

I don't know, I always had the impression it was longer, but I didn't spend much time with them due to the SFM. If I was wrong then I stand corrected
