How to change Repeater display to MAP display?

How to change Repeater display to MAP display?

I recall in earlier versions , in 1.5.X era, Mig-29 HUD repeater on stbd(right) side of instrument panel , could be changed to display a simplified map display showing waypoints and runway symbols.

Now I can't seem to find that keyboard command in Mig-29A/S/G options.

I think it was written out some time ago now because only later versions(not sure which though) have that feature in real life I think, i'm sure someone will be able to clarify,

DCS: SU-27 , SU-33, and J-11A have that function.

So in DCS: Mig-29, the LCD repeater only shows HUD data? No other use?

Correct. MiG29 only has a HUD repeater. Later and more advanced/upgraded versions has other displays with functionality like datalink etc.

You'd be better off starting a poll for more advanced GCI functions so the HUD repeater is able to be used correctly...

What is often forgotten, ist the fact, that the 29 was designed as a short range intercepter with heavy reliance on GCI guidance. The Radar was meant to be a weapon employment device and not a search radar as e.g. in the F-15C. This role - air superiority - was by design meant for the SU-27.
