In game keystroke for TrackIR5 to toggle on & off

Gentlemen,

 

I have TrackIR5 that I use in all my DCS modules. I am looking for a single way to keystroke the TrackIR5 on and off and map that to my HOTAS ....is there a way? Other than spinning my ball cap with my clip reflectors backwards real fast to disable the TrackIR5. Thank you!

Bind "Pause" in TrackIR software

F9 is the default TrackIR pause key.

 

 

I would change that to another key in TrackIR programming because it messes with a lot of things in DCS using an "F" key. I use numberpad 8.

 

 

 

Then just use your HOTAS software to program that key to your stick.

Well...my TIR "center" is bound directly to the hotas , no key needed . I assume i could do the same with "pause" if i wished .

I have TIr Pause mapped to the Left Arrow key*

TIr Center is the Down Arrow key.

 

(*Really easy to find by feel. Slide fingers along SPACE bar and it's the first thing I hit off the right end. Handy when I want to lock my view on the A-10C CDU while loading mission data)
