maukings Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 I don't know if this has been done before or not but I just thought it would be very cool to have the same amount of people that participated REDFLAG to do one massive GUNS ONLY super FURBAL. We would have to make 2 skins one for BLUEFOR and one of REDFOR in order to make IFF easier. We could add different FIN logos to identify each squad within each force. Migs could take off from closer bases to the channel to make up for less gas cap. once the main forces are close to them. We'll have one side take off from Belbek and the other from Sukumi that would give each side enough time to form up and have a massive merge somewhere around the channel. All jets welcomed. What do you guys think?
RvETito Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 Belbek and Sukhumi? That's maybe 500km... Seems pretty boring to fly half an hour to do some gunzo. 20-30km separation is more than enough to plan the merge. We in RvE fly gunzo quiet a lot but to be honest I don't really like these furbals- too chaotic, not much room for tactics. 1v1 or 2v2 is much more interesting. Pilotasso Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 Large guns furbals have been donne before. The more people get in it the less the skill factor counts, because no matter how good you are gtting into someones 6 theres always someone else on yours. .
355th_Paulie Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 I remember the big furballs in Janes F/A18, was fun indeed. :D
EscCtrl Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 I'd be up for that definitley, I don't have a squad though. This suits me better seeing as I haven't got a clue how to use missiles (I can launch them and shoot them, etc. but I don't get all the stuff about burnthrough, notching and HOJ and have not got around to reading up on it)
Aeroscout Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 I like it. Can i suggest the Kerch strait instead? The airports on either side provide good, quick takeoff locations to get into the action fast.
