How do I find targets on radar?

Hi guys

 

I know it’s early access, but I can’t see anything in BVR on the attack radar. Have all the systems on. Mainly having the issue with standard settings on Aim 120c.

 

Any ideas?

You mean changing antenna? If so yes. Just appear a mig 29 can close into gun range! I can see him on the EW page but not radar

IIRC after selecting the AIM-120C, the radar defaults to 2 bar and 40 nm, I usually increase to 4 or 6 bars so the radar covers a wider altitude.

Bar scan 2 or 4 , range 40 or 80 , prf interleaved and continuously adjusting elevation works for most...

I’ve been having issues too. I know how to use the different settings, and sometimes I have no issues, but other times I inexplicably cannot see anything on the radar. It’s really hit and miss. The only thing I have found consistent is the radar does not see anything in RWS mode with AIM-9X selected.

Thanks guys! I’m loving the module and understand the amount of coding involved!! I hope to master the 18 as well as I can use the A10C! I have had the A10 since release and only this year I can operate everything without having to read prompts!
