Ah dam, another DCS sale! Not really a A2À guy but love the look of these two, and been thinking of getting one of those m for ages.

Now I know in one respect the sabre is better as it carries rockets as well, but I love the mig too for some reason, if you had to pick one, which would it be?

Probably Mig-15 but then again I'm more for the fighters. And an array of guns including 37mm... you have any other module like that?

Sabre is a blast as an air-to-ground platform. There are like 4 different bombing methods (5 if you count just eye-balling), all challenging to master, plus rockets and guns. One of my faves.

I've been right where you are for quite a long time and chose to get the Sabrejet in the previous sale (these come so quickly all of a sudden...). As others advised I decided a bit on the fact that it seemed more fun in A/G missions, but don't have any regrets either way. Only that it makes me eye the MiG-15 now, too...

You need to have your spreadsheet well prepared in advance. Then you can buy all your modules on Day 1 with no hesitation.

And then spend some more a few hours before it ends because you had doubts if you're really fully stocked yet :music_whistling:

I don't have the Sabre (yet) but the MiG-15 is fantastic!

One or two hits with 37mm cannon are enough to blow up a B-17!

Modules: Bf 109, C-101, CE-II, F-5, Gazelle, Huey, Ka-50, Mi-8, MiG-15, MiG-19, MiG-21, Albatros, Viggen, Mirage 2000, Hornet, Yak-52, FC3

I'm leaning towards the sabre, just because of the A/G element, but I really love the look and feel of the mig, I'm having the same problem with the 109 or the p-51!! as well:doh:

Well, 2x 23mm and a 37mm guns are AWESOME for strafing runs - so I wouldn't count out the MiG-15 just because of A/G. But sure, no rockets, and the bombs... atleast I can't hit anything with them - but the cannons... :joystick: Only bad thing is very limited ammo so have to use them sparingly.

Whichever you choose - remember to take the Museum Relic campaign with it. Perfect campaign to get to know the plane.

Something to keep in mind if you want to fly PvP on multiplayer servers is the smoke generated by the engines: you can see a Sabre coming from miles away, while the MiG-15 has a smokeless engine (3 cheers for Rolls-Royce).
