@Draken35Had this working for a long while, but something happened. I no longer have the square for the white marking circle, or the L/L button to enter coordinates anymore. I deleted and reinstalled from Draken35's post on page 33 but cannot get it to come up.

Try while manning a plane within a mission... That looks like your were in the main screen.

Hello Again! Just bought the Chinook and I can't get the waypoints to load at all. Can anyone help with this? Thanks!

Seems that the CDU key codes were changed again... So, it is broken for the time being

I think you assumed that I did not check my code before posting and that I meant the codes were changed recently (as in the last DCS update). Unfortunately, you were wrong in both accounts. Also, you made the mistake of comparing two different pieces of software (even if they try to accomplish the same thing) made by different developers, but thanks for trying to help.

@greyeagle787 I updated the key codes and uploaded it to the user files . I'm not currently flying the hook so, please, give it a good test and let me know.

For the Hook do I have to do anything with the WSS @|#| or just hit "load waypoints" when on the CDU flight plan page?

Hit load.. I haven't added any other functionality to it and probably won't until the module is more developed (and I get the desire to fly it 🙂 )

Just installed the update and CH-47 works fine now. Only issue is the new waypoints install in front of any existing WPs. Thanks again for this great MOD. Appreciate your work here and elsewhere in DCS.

Update 250607A pushed to the user files
https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3344152/

- AJS-37 Support added (Yes, I'm aware and know how to use the DTC functionality)
- Coordinate load speed improved for the Hornet

-- AJS-37 Viggen
Only B & M waypoints can be added. Bearing and range for offset points can be manually added.
Waypoint Sequence Start can be used to specify a startup waypoint and route. Default is 1
Examples:
Set WSS to point 3 :  @<3>
@|#| ...  will load/replace  the next B point in the load sequence
@|B| ...  will load/replace  the next B point in the load sequence
@|M| ...  will load/replace  the next M point in the load sequence
@|B3| ...  will load/replace B3 point
@|#|N 41°36'41"|E 44°33'51"||| -> will load the coordinates in the next waypoint in the sequence
@|#|N 41°36'41"|E 44°33'51"|180|10| -> will load the coordinates in the next waypoint in the sequence with an offset of 180° at 10km

@Draken35  Sufficient to just replace  02-QWERTY_KB and Load Coordinates.lua for the update or are there other components as well that need to be replaced?

Hook script is needed too…

The Date Modified on the Hook script was from back in April, while the Qwerty/Coordinates were from June 7, 2025 so I didn't think it was updated:

But I found I was using an older one anyway, so updated!

Thank you @Draken35 for creating this software…huge help

Inhae 2 systems: One on VR and one on flatscreen so my son and I can fly together.

The scratchpad + on the VR is an older version but works flawlessly loading WPs into the Hornet. The flatscreen was having issues dropping numbers. Sometimes reloading 3-4 times it would come up right. I saw the 9/14 update and I downloaded and installed and now I only get Errors when loading.

Id like to reinstall completely on that system and start over with the 9/14 mod. What are all the files/folders to delete to do this? Do I need the original scratchpad mod software or just the one that you make? Unless you can think of any other solutions I’ll reinstall. I go through the Same steps as I do in VR (HSI-DATA-PRECISE)

Thanks again for all you do. Would love to buy you a coffee or a drink!

The zip file contains all you need and has the same folder structure as the DCS saved games folder, so it can be used as a guide on where to install the  different components.
I've noticed the errors loading into the Hornet and thought they where due to a change in the timing of the keys on the UFC. It is interesting to know that scratchpad + is still working on the Hornet, since its code is basically what I used (as mentioned in the readme 😉 )... I'll take a look to see if I can get a clue. If that is the issue that you are trying to fix with the reinstall, save yourself the trouble, it won't fix it.

As for buying me a drink or a coffee, thank you, I really appreciate the sentiment but, please, add that money to your next donation to a charity of your preference! Plenty of people (and pets) in need out there!

Just took a quick look at version 2.6 of scratchpad + and it seems to confirm my suspicions about timing of the key press on the UFC... Also, I see a cool idea about adjusting the time based on the FPS... Basically the user tells scratchpad  how many FPS and the scripts uses that to calculate the key presses. Will do some testing on that and might implement something similar for my fork
