As per patch on 16 01 2019.

 

Once the canopy is closed, it can't be opened. The "interaction zone" on the canopy for pushing it opendesyncs. Lock lever position has no impact.

Keyboard shortcut only unlocks the lock lever.

 

The interaction zone stays de-synced mostly, but sometimes snaps into sync when user is clicking it's rearward position, when the handle is fore.

The key shortcut : "Crtl + C" only unlock the canopy lever.

Yea, tell me about.

 

There are two steps. Now.

LeftContrl-C to unlock the canopy then click on canopy handle to pull it open. But it is implemented faulty and haphazardly. Becouse the magic area where one clicks on canopy is poorly defined.

For some reason, this bug irks (i.e. somewhat angers me). Why introduce new functionality, and miss something kind of obvious? The 'hit box' area seems to only activates, waits to be clicked on, after canopy release lever. But the position of hit box area is ellusive and floating. It works on some missions, but not in others. Nevada/Cold & Dark, is where it doesn't work. First CNRL-C closes canopy and seals it with lever. Subsequent Control-C just unseals the canopy , but does not slide it open.

Sadly the reversal of hit boxes is not what I am experiencing.

Are you sure you're aiming in the right place? Works for me every time.

@DmitriKozlowsky did you unlock the canopy before clicking the missing handle?

 

I've noticed that, if the canopy lock is fwd when the missing handle is clicked on, the canopy handles re-sync with the canopy. They go back out of sync when if the handle is subsequently clicked on.

Using OB ver 2.5.4.26552, the canopy can again be open by just left control and C

To whom it may concern,

I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that.
