The new switch animation timing seems to be off. Switches now work in slow motion. Activation of three-position switches requires a distinct pause when moving them from position 1 to position 3 (or vice versa) until the animation for the previous position has completed.

 

Two-position and rotary switches are similarly affected.

If you want to change it yourself in the meantime, go to Mods/aircraft/AV8BNA/cockpit

- open clickabledata.lua with Notepad++

- insert this line:

anim_speed_default = 15.0

I entered it in line 9, works just fine. Change the 15.0 to whatever you like, the higher the faster the animation.

The animations also introduce a significant delay.

 

For example, I have the Flaps switch bound to a similar 3-way switch on my HOTAS, but in DCS, the switch only starts to move once the physical switch is flipped all the way. This introduces quite a delay and can be a disadvantageous in some situations (Master Arm is also affected).

Is this what we are to expect for the switch animation. As of the 02-03-2019 update according to Decoy (Clickabledata.lua fix: springloaded switches + animation speed) Was fixed?

Or did Razbam decide to slow down there animation. If so WHY.

Not fixed here on the latest Open Beta. Most switches are fine, but the flaps, water, and fuel totalizer switches are quite slow.

1 go to the armament panel and move the select knob. OK

2 go to INS knob. Good

2 go to fuel panel fuel totalizer knob. Slow.

 

 

If it didnt make it to the latest update them just let us know.
