fmedges Posted January 31, 2019 Posted January 31, 2019 Just like the AB detent button, I believe that this would benefit from an option to adjust where it sits on screen for play-ability. It may not be true to life, but either is using a track ir in a hornet cockpit. Currently this isn't something that translates well from real life to on the computer in my opinion. Blaze1 Posted January 31, 2019 Posted January 31, 2019 Obi Why do you think I asked ;) Hope all is well with you, mate. I hear you, there's still some interesting things to figure out. Mod S as you mentioned, Mode 1, E-1, E-2, E-3, EID, air-to-air targeting pod ...... BTW, I'm pretty good thanks for asking. I've just read your post about not working as a photojournalist anymore, which seems like a shame. You've done what many only dream about and must have had great experiences.
Blaze1 Posted January 31, 2019 Posted January 31, 2019 I'm a new member. Ive been around about 2 days, and this will be my last post here. I posted the solution to this issue twice in this forum. All you people seem to want to do is argue about shit that doesn't matter. real life is real life and DCS is DCS. I'm out. bunch of trolls just want to argue and fight with each other. Makes me sick. No wonder DCS is regarded so poorly in all the other flight sim communities. I get it now. Good luck here in land of the trolls. Hi Cosmic Don't quit posting. There's a bit cross talk regarding how things work in real life and how to solve/find workarounds for the sim. Real life talk is interesting and can and has helped the developers improve different aspects of this sim.
Tenkom Posted February 1, 2019 Posted February 1, 2019 I did the lua trick but after I couldn’t join MP servers anymore. “Pure client required”(or something like that.
Razi Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 (edited) I fly in VR and I find that the JHMCS isn't aligned with my eye level. It must be the way the headset sits on my face, but JHMCS is displayed about 10 degrees above my eye level such that when I'm sitting, eyes level, looking at the horizon, JHMCS is displayed above the HUD. I have to tilt my head down and look up slightly to have JHMCS centered with the HUD. I assume this is the kind of alignment the pilots do each time? Is there anyway currently to correct the JHMCS in VR? Edited April 20, 2019 by Razi
Manuel_108 Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 I fly in VR and I find that the JHMCS isn't aligned with my eye level. It must be the way the headset sits on my face, but JHMCS is displayed about 15 degrees above my eye level such that when I'm sitting, eyes level, looking at the horizon, JHMCS is displayed above the HUD. I have to tilt my head down and look up slightly to have JHMCS centered with the HUD. I assume this is the kind of alignment the pilots do each time?
