enigma6584 Posted January 31, 2019 Posted January 31, 2019 I have a question I would like clarified if possible. When setting the Advanced Way Point options in the mission editor for a flight, does one have to do that with every way-point in order to keep the flight using that particular option? As an example; Let's say I want the flight to keep a certain formation during their patrol. I usually set that formation in the very first way-point. In order for them to use that formation during the whole patrol, do I need to set that option at each and every way-point?
StrayWolf Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 No. The AI will use the advanced waypoint and keep it until a different command is issued. So, if you want a specific formation you assign it to the first waypoint and the AI will fly that formation all the way through the flight plan. If you want them to change formation, etc at a certain point, you assign it to that waypoint. You can definitely modify the AI behavior throughout the flight plan. Snacko Posted February 5, 2019 Posted February 5, 2019 No. The AI will use the advanced waypoint and keep it until a different command is issued. Is that just for Options? Other actions, like 'Go to waypoint 0' wouldn't repeat at every waypoint, right? It's only for the Options.
