You need to set the trim to around 17 degrees before takeoff or you'll get the warning, check the FCS page to see what it is set at.

I have not found out how to do that tbh , other than hitting the trim knob for like 1 million times.

Can you actually tune the trim on the FCS page ?

and yes, I do hit the FCS reset and T.O. trim button. I would like to rertim the plane to normal flight once airborne. I hate this UP & UP until I hit it 1 mil times

You can hold the trim button down, no need to press it a million times. It only takes 3-4 seconds to get to 17 degrees (on the ground). No need to FCS reset, but press take off trim to reset it if you have trimmed during the flight.

No you can't set it on the FCS page, you can just see the current value.

No need to re trim after takeoff, once the wheels are up it will automatically trim for level flight.

Also, when setting trim to 16-19 (depending on weight), make sure you set your flaps first. Trim adjustments are MUCH faster when flaps are at half or full.

I land of carrier with flaps to FULL. So when i reload and refuel, before take off i need to set flaps to HALF and press TRIM for 3-4 secs (to set TRIM between 16-19). Right?

Correct. You can set trim while they are still at FULL, but they should be set to HALF for take off.

Just don't try to set trim with them set to AUTO. Someone mentioned clicking a million times. That sounds like they were set to AUTO while trying to set trim.

You can also use the checklist page to set trim, I prefer it since it also shows weight. Keep in mind this is only needed for carrier take-offs, runway is always the standard 12° of Stabs
