accuracy of the CCIP mode- not a bug

30-40 degree dive, Flight Marker on an aim-off point just beyond the target, flying for 1G and 450-460kts. Good CCIP cue, pickle. Bombs fall long, even if I pickle 100' short.

Show us a track please.

I usually fly 45° profiles and have good results.

I tend to fly shallower dives, more like 25-30 if I can get away with it.

New hotness: I7 9700k 4.8ghz, 32gb ddr4, 2080ti, :joystick: TM Warthog. TrackIR, HP Reverb (formermly CV1)

Old-N-busted: i7 4720HQ ~3.5GHZ, +32GB DDR3 + Nvidia GTX980m (4GB VRAM) :joystick: TM Warthog. TrackIR, Rift CV1 (yes really).

You guys might be on to something. In the past I used to aim for 30° bombing runs and never really had problems. Recently I've been going steeper.

Ironically the steeper the angle the more "Accurate" it should be IRL.

I don't fly the A-10 but like others have said, I see no difference between Harrier and Hornet. Can take out a tank almost every time with a single Mk82 and almost guaranteed with two.

I think the biggest thing for me to get past was to make sure the + is not moving up too fast. I don't know if this is a real thing or even allowed but by very slightly pushing the nose down as you're about to drop will make the timing easier. And I mean very tiny amount so you're pulling maybe 0.8G. Clearly less than 0G and you fly into your own bombs.

You also know to zoom in A LOT. So just your HUD fills the whole screen.

Well the difference between the harrier and the hornet is that the hornet has a radar to compute slant range to target for accurate CCIP cross placement. The Harrier has the DMT/ARBS to roughly do the same thing, just optically if your target is locked correctly. Of course the ARBS has a problem correctly ranging things with low angular change rates, (so stuff you are flying directly towards as an example). Of course if you aren't using the DMT/ARBS thats a whole other can of worms.

But it sounds like you are putting the thing on the thing very well.
