DX11 problem DCS wont run on 20180Ti

My internet goes out every day for the past week, all night and when I wake up

internet is back on. I just received a new 20180Ti and I can not use DCS offline

as the error prevents me from doing so. I did a clean and a repair of both the

release version and beta. I was able to use My CV1 offline for dcs, and the little

I saw was nice.

 

DXDIAG says My DX12 is fine with no problems.

 

 

PS My 2282 came with nothing. Cant even find a demo to use

new features. EVGA sure has gotten cheap... 1150 for a gpu

that didn't even have directions or any cables or adapters.

The C port is useless I guess, unless You buy a adapter ?

Ahh, where to start ?

 

1: DX12 is irrelevant, DCS uses DX11

 

2: delete/rename your saved games folder of DCS -- or -- at least delete FXO and METASHADER2 folders. Your compile error could be a symptom of having those left over from previous installs, prv. GPU drivers/ GPU version, etc..

 

delete those 2 folders after EVERY DCS update and GPU driver update etc..

Thank You BitMaster ! I was able to at least get the beta working.

I erased the FXO. Metashaders, and My option.lua and it worked !

I don't know what this CURL stuff is, but DCS is working and

I can just worry about things like finding out what gamma is best

and what ARMBENDING is and should I use it.

Gamma is a personal thing, play around with it until you like it.

Armbending is a new option in , I think , the "special" menu . Some say it is to accommodate the Captoglove . I have no experience with either .

confirm it is a captoglove thing. CTguy. It has no relevance to your Rift unless you are able to use captogloves. I guess it bends the arms of the pilot body at the elbows by tracking the gloves when flicking switches around the cockpit, much like the arms and legs on the stick and rudders.
