Its weird, it depends on the Dev and plane actually... Raz planes its about 5-6 fps on my system, more with the hornet and abysmal with the mig21.

New hotness: I7 9700k 4.8ghz, 32gb ddr4, 2080ti, :joystick: TM Warthog. TrackIR, HP Reverb (formermly CV1)

Old-N-busted: i7 4720HQ ~3.5GHZ, +32GB DDR3 + Nvidia GTX980m (4GB VRAM) :joystick: TM Warthog. TrackIR, Rift CV1 (yes really).

I havnt had a noticeable perfomance impact from mirrors in a long time. and thats mostly in vr. so im sure they will be fine. also dont think the mirrors are working any different than in other planes so should be a similar impact to other things you have maybe a bit more because theres more to render.

 

also frames are not the best thing to ask other people for. its an ok ish reference if you know what they have and you have a near identical setup but everyone has a different setup and lots of factors including other software and free drive space can effect frame rates. no noticeable drop for person a could leave person b with severe drops.

Disable mirrors in the settings.

Are you talking about the global setting? Or does the F-14 have it's own?

Wouldn't want to have to set/unset this when changing modules.
