When I overshoot the runway and came with the F14 to a hold in the grass, it was not possible to get out of there. Even with full afterburner the F14 was sticking in the grass.:pilotfly:

Definately DCS. And they want it to behave like that. Try not to come to a complete stop once you get off the runway or taxiways and you'll be able to get back with regular control. Once you stop, you'll get stuck there forever unless you can point your thrust downward and lift off with that rainbowdashwink.png

Do that in the real jet and see if it also happens...;)

You get rolling normally... Until you go on so soft and wet soil that you need a skiid to slide on.

 

Example Su-25, Su-17/22, Mig-21, Mig-23 etc were all designed to operate from unprepared fields. If you can drive with tractor, then you could operate from those.

 

And we talk again about designed and constructed airfields, not some farmer watered soil...
