mihairotea Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 (edited) Hi Guys , First of all , i want to thank Heatblur Simulations for such an incredible work , this module it's amazing , probably the best module in DCS . Now i would like to know if is because of my lack of knowledge or if there is a bug , i cant drop MK82 bombs . I've selected from jester wheel weapon ordinance , then the fuse , but when i pres trigger button the gun is firing , not the bombs , and yes i've selected A/G mod. There is other key that must be assigned for drooping bombs ? in A/A mod and with rockets everything works fine but in A/G i cant release bombs ? Any ideas what could be ? Sorry for my English , it's not my primary language. Edited April 2, 2019 by IronMike
m0j0NL Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 And You are getting the ccip line in your hud?. Yesterday I was messing with this one as well, and in the end (I think) it was that I had my Sidewinders selected, when I asked Jester to select the MK-82`s. Tried it 2-3 times no joy, then deselected my current A/A weapon, and the ccip line came into view and I was able to bomb. My skins: https://tiny.cc/m0j0NL [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
MurderOne Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 You're right to have Jester select the bombs, fusing, etc., but the weapon release should be used instead of the trigger for dropping ordnance. The trigger is for "forward firing weapons". Sorry, no cool signature here.
mihairotea Posted March 18, 2019 Author Posted March 18, 2019 The CCIP line appear on the HUD , with ORD shown , don't know what could be the issue.
mihairotea Posted March 18, 2019 Author Posted March 18, 2019 Ok , do you know what is the weapon release default Key ?

yogipol Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 There is no default key for it. HP Reverb, Intel I7 9700K, Zotac GTX 2080Ti, 32GB Ram @4000Mhz Corsair, SDD M.2 500GB Samsung 970 PRO
Kirkey_badgers Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 Just to check, Trigger will dispense any forward firing weapons- rockets, missiles, guns You need to have stores release bound for dropping any bombs or anything that uses gravity. Also, on the weapon selector where you cycle between missiles and guns this needs to be in the OFF position. This will then automatically send power to the stores, wait a few seconds then select AG switch for the HUD, use jester for selecting bombs and fuzing settings. Then you should be good to go!
Dudikoff Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 I've searched in controls , and i could't find weapon release , key , do you know what is the default key ? The trigger is 'Space', the weapon release is 'RightAlt + Space' by default (as e.g. in FC3 modules). i386DX40@42 MHz w/i387 CP, 4 MB RAM (8*512 kB), Trident 8900C 1 MB w/16-bit RAMDAC ISA, Quantum 340 MB UDMA33, SB 16, DOS 6.22 w/QEMM + Win3.11CE, Quickshot 1btn 2axis, Numpad as hat. 2 FPH on a good day, 1 FPH avg. Jarlerus Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 It's called something like "Stores release button" or similar. Jarl at YouTube DCS Service Span and Wishlist Spreadsheet Forum post for discussion of above spreadsheet Retro Electro Playlist on Spotify
mytai01 Posted March 19, 2019 Posted March 19, 2019 I had a similar problem. Everything seems to be correct but the bombs just wouldn't drop. It turns out that you HAVE TO ask Jester to select the ordinance you want...It's not good enough to select fusing and pilot control. So you have to have Jester do 3 things to give you control to drop...And, yes! You have to hit the Pickle button not pull the trigger. Deadpoetic6 Posted March 19, 2019 Posted March 19, 2019 Also be sure not to be in computer point but pilot point (or something similar)

Of course you need to tell him, je needs to arm the stations which should be used... http://www.heatblur.se/F-14Manual/cockpit.html#armament-panel 7,10,12,14,15,18 In fact, you only need to tell him what ordnance you want to have. Fuze should be set correct by him, single ripple should be also set and you are default in Computer Pilot mode...
