Shadow_1stVFW Posted April 1, 2019 Posted April 1, 2019 Fake announcements are all well and good, but this is ridiculous. Hardy har, it's stupid aprils fools day, yeah I get it. I'm getting one day this week to fly this sim, I don't feel like dealing with this. Luismon Posted April 1, 2019 Posted April 1, 2019 (edited) I'm entering the Matrix too. I have the same problem since update of today. This isn't a fake announcement. It is a bug that I have in this moment. Tested with F14-B and F18. When I throw the stick to give high-G this happens Regards Edited April 1, 2019 by Luismon
Hyperion35 Posted April 1, 2019 Posted April 1, 2019 There is a rumor that this is a bug intentionally inserted by ED as an April Fools joke. I genuinely hope that this is not true. I can fully understand that bugs happen, that's just a normal part of software development, and nobody can write bug-free code. Bugs don't reflect on the quality or skill of the programming staff or the QA staff who go bughunting, because bughunting is also very difficult. But intentionally inserting a bug into an update isn't a joke. It discourages people from updating and it generates serious questions about whether we can trust ED's QA staff.

drack Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 I just bought a 2080 TI. Due to performance issues I did a complete Win 10 new install yesterday. While performance testing the new install DCS asked if I wanted an update...Why not while I take a break. Last night I got to the stage where I thought I got my new install nailed...but then...This space invader/artifacting crap Ive been reading about started...shit Ive got a duff card...I hate that huge sinking feeling especially when youve worked so hard for the money.....DAMMMMMM.... After totally wasting a lot of valuble time stress testing the card and checking the internet I realised there cant be anything wrong with the card it must be a DCS problem. So I decided that the way forward is to do a completley separate clean install to check things......I thought I'd just take a quick check on here first to see if anything is being reported.... ..A barrage of swear words and ED - NO you an't funny....I'm going to stop myself from going into a rant....I hope you havent ****ed to many of you loyal customers over........
