HUD off center sometimes?

This happens to me once in awhile, where the HUD is projected off center. Starts mission fine, then slowly seems to slide to one side or the other, so I have to lean to the left or right to see the Hud. And then, just as randomly, lines back up center.

Re-centering my pilot view doesn't fix it. Anyone else experience it?

Is it the entire HUD or just the pitch ladder and VVI? It it is the ladder, you are getting a cross wind. Cage your HUD to bring it back center and a ghost VVI will appear outside of constraints.

I've seen it in the harrier recently. Can't recall if it was just the ladder or the whole thing, but I couldn't replicate it upon reloading the mission.

I had no idea Cross wind would show up like that, nor that Cage would re-center it. I'll try that next time I notice it happening. (My memory says it was the whole hud, but we'll see next time it happens)

It helps to allow it to move with a crosswind on final. It compensates the correct amount if you place the flight-path marker where you want to land when compensating for the wind. Otherwise, I cage it.

Also, keep in mind when you are in A/G mode it will automatically uncage the HUD.

i have had it a few times were if my nav is in IFA it bugs out the hud when set to NAV works fine
