I made a flight in the red flag camapign. After taking off I could in the outside view see that one of the landing gear had not been raised. But there was no error indication in the cockpit and the plane could fly as if everything was normal. I tried lower and raising the gear again but the result was still one of the landing gear remained extended. I then made the take off training session and here all three gears was raised like expected and like they always has done before.

Which one of the main landing gears was affected... the right or left one?

If I remember correctly I had the left one visibly extended, but with no indication in the cockpit.

Same, happened to me one time as well. It had no effect on the fying characteristics and my wingman in multiplayer could not see it. A repair didnt "fix" it either.

I think it was the right gear. It didn't happem when I flew the next mission in this campaign.

Had the same happen to me in multiplayer today. Only thing I noticed was that I could barely get the Viggen supersonic. o_O

I've had this happen to me about three times in multiplayer. I'm still not certain if it's visual or it's actually stuck. Raising/lowering it 3 times didn't fix it.

 

Taxing and take-off were pretty mild? I'm sure a Viggen QFI would have been horrified, but there were no bad thumps.

it just happened to me tonight, the (left) landing gear screwed up... didn't know until I flew a few minutes..

ASUS Strix Z790-H, i9-13900, WartHog HOTAS and MFG Crosswind

I've had this happen a few times, sometimes when I taxi through a turn way too fast, but mostly when I accidentally cross a patch of grass at any speed. (Easily done when reversing from those bunkers in internal view with no ground crew to give you hand signals.)

 

So I think it's partly pilot error. Though I would have thought that the main gear could handle some grass at low speed, and also that you would get some kind of warning if it doesn't retract properly.

This is a good analysis. This happens to me all the time. If you taxi VERY carefully, you're safe, but sometimes even totally insignificant bumps or turns cause the landing gear to break. This is much more irritating than realistic and should be tuned to less breaking. When the gear breaks, there should also be some clear indication of it having broken. If you play without external views, you essentially have no idea anything has happened.
