fl0w Posted May 1, 2019 Posted May 1, 2019 Another 3D model that I have been working on is the ASK-23B, a single-seat glider that first flew in 83' October. This has been something of a project of mine that I have gone back and forth to every now and then, making adjustments to the model. I have no official plans to bring this to DCS but wanted to share it in case if anyone was interested in it. The following are renders with Matcap. 6 2 3 4 1 5
Mars Exulte Posted June 15, 2019 Posted June 15, 2019 I fly Ask-21s in-rl. I would love a chance to experiment with a glider in DDCS. I accidentally discovered that DCS seems to model rising air currents under clouds (easily missed if you're in a heavy fast mover) and would love to compare it to rl =) Де вороги, знайдуться козаки їх перемогти. 5800x3d * 3090 * 64gb * Reverb G2

fl0w Posted November 26, 2019 Author Posted November 26, 2019 In regards to the model, I would be happy to give it to someone, but it lacks a cockpit. However, the shape of the cockpit is relatively simple. I do believe the rudder section has some warping that doesn't exist, or at least that I have not closely judged hard enough.
TOMCATZ Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 (edited) I learned flying on that aircraft. Its a good glider and nearly unbreakable... Nearly. Great Projekt! Keep on Edited December 8, 2019 by TOMCATZ Born to fly but forced to work.
