With Mission Interception, no comms at all, with either AWACS or Wingman  right from the start.  I can receive but not transmit to Focus or Wingman, so I can't request a picture and I cant get the wingman to fence in change formation or engage or fence in.

I have tried both on the Pilot ad RIO radios in both cases, any help or suggestions ?

Has anyone completed this campaign recently? I have tried and tried to have success in mission 9 'clearing the way' but am absolutely stuck! The times when i dont get shot down, one of the strike package gets shot down and results in a draw. If i am more aggressive to try to attack the airspace around the base where the strike package is targeting, i get swarmed and shot down mig 29s and 23s. I wonder if this campaign was designed before the aim54 got reworked? I maybe i just really suck? If anyone has any tips, id be very grateful!

I'm going through this campaign now as well and am also stuck on this mission. I've tried a few times now and keep ending in a draw with no RTB message. I just completed this mission again tonight with no friendly's shot down and still no RTB message and ended in a draw. I didn't scroll through F2 to see if there were any enemy planes still alive on the ground, but the picture was clean from the E-2.

Kaba (the creator of this campaign) confirmed to me that it was bugged.

Big patch going to Heatblur for a future update. Changelog below. Also attaching the files here so you don't have to wait for an update - just paste over the existing files in your campaign folder (e.g. - DCS Install folder \Mods\aircraft\F14\Missions\Campaigns\Operation Cage The Bear)

@kaba I've been playing 3rd mission and UZI 2 and UZI 3 flights crash after takeoff every time, sometimes 1 of them, sometimes 2 or 3. AI wingman sometimes is circling around before joining the formation and doing it with full afterburner. I do the cold start as usual, and follow the operating procedures, taxi to cat 1, fly to 7nm from carrier before turning to wp1

F-14, A-10CII, F/A-18, Spitfire, FC3, Supercarrier and all of the maps/terrains 

R7 5800X, 32GB DDR4 3733GHz CL14, RTX3090, Sound blaster Z, Oculus Quest 2 and Reverb G2, WINWING F/A-18 Orion HOTAS...

Thanks - they've started doing the same on my side! not very good AI there. I hope this didn't prevent you completing the mission?

 

Try this fix attached. It sorted it for me. I'll share the same with Heatblur.

Hi again

I've been playing the Clearing the way mission(7th I think), and I never get mission complete status. I kill few MiG-29s and rest just land, I keep flying wp2-wp3 until I get to bingo fuel and then return to the carrier. I hear messages of sam sites being down but I never get a message mission complete. Flew that mission 4 times with the similar kills and flying wp2-wp3 and none of the times I got the mission complete

Thanks. This is definitely happening on the version I recently uploaded here? This is one of the bugs that I fixed and tested for, so it is surprising and a bit annoying it has returned!

Do you have a tacview or a track file by any chance? If not don't worry, but these are very helpful for bugfixing! I will look into it soon.

Hey Kaba, i just want to thank you for this great campaign! Pretty enjoyable from start to finish. Challenging enough without being crazy.

I felt no issues except difficulty to connect to a tanker once, but it's likely not campaign related.

Here is a campaign playthrough, if anyone finds that interesting:
