Nineline's post was clear. If they had a date, ie 'until when', they would have posted it. 'Until it's ready' is the correct answer. Literally. Being idiosyncratic and snappy is certainly not the best advertisement for a company when it comes to customer communication. So, please let us get back to a more professional level and show the appropriate respect for each other, shall we? Right now Beta and Stable are at the same version number, so it's unlikely that the next update is for the stable version of dcs because both are the same. Here's my original reply: No offense man, you might have missed the posts then. It was mention by Wags that ED was looking to get the JSOW out this month. Today, the 22 of May, falls on the Open Beta update schedule. Most assumed it was today; turns out the OB update has been pushed to 24 May. There has been no confirmation that I have seen that the JSOW is getting released on 24 May. It may very well come next month. We have to wait and see what ED has in store for us. Here's how a poster replied to me: Incorrect, https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3897638&postcount=151 Clearly states last hornet update was May 8th, meaning there shouldn't have been an update on the 22nd. I ask what was incorrect about my statement as his very post validated what I typed. What is incorrect about my statement? Go ahead, I am waiting..... He then went on to reply as such: Obviously there wasn't going to be anything added to the hornet this week knowing the schedule, so this doesn't make sense. There was no reason for anyone to assume otherwise. Again. The 22nd was OB update day, according to the normal schedule of things. It was stated that they were trying to get the JSOW out this month so people assumed it was going to be released on the 22nd. Next week, the 29th falls on Stable Release update. There's nothing wrong with that logic. It didn't work out that way and ED/Wags never gave a specific date. Next week, the 29th, does in fact fall on the Stable Release update schedule. That is a FACT. Just because there are no updates does not change the original schedule of rotating updates between OB and Stable. Another FACT. All i wanted to say is there will be no stable patch next week despite the fact it would be the timeslot for one because there is no difference at the moment between both versions and it would'nt be quit logic to bring new features directly to the stable branch without testing it in the OB branch. The next Open Beta will be the move to version 2.5.5, and we are waiting on a few 3rd party aircraft to be updated to this new branch before we can publish it. Thanks Open betas and release has not "fixed" weeks. The same with functionalities, has only "plans".
