Hornet's MSI is a very complex function. It integrates data from several sensors. It even includes ALR-67 trackfile (4 trackfile). The digital data computer accomplishes multi-source integration (MSI) by taking trackfile information from various sensors and combining the various associated trackfiles into MSI trackfiles. The radar system, forward looking infrared (FLIR) system, data link, high-speed antiradiation (HARM) missile, and overlay controlled stores (OCS) are used to Provide sensor inputs to MSI.

What do you want to say about the coming new features?

I disagree that it is a BVR game changer. A great tool and adds to the SA of the pilot - yes. I, personally, feel that TWS will be a game changer for BVR in the Hornet.

Good point! I agree. TWS is what we really need for proper use of the 120C & BVR in general. I'm just thrilled at the prospects of never having to look from the radar to the SA page and back again EVER AGAIN. :-)

Because of 1.16, I can't release more pictures, but believe me, TWS will be a very big project.Because of MSI, you can even get the data link trajectory under STT.

Sounds great!

Even with tws you still use missile to achieve a kill which is in most case not very effective beyond 10 miles in PvP environment. So not really a game changer for that much.

Care to elaborate on that or send me a PM? What do you mean by "data-link trajectory under STT"?

Disagree. In PvP I get kills beyond 10NMs and that is using STT. Once TWS comes out we will be able to launch on multiple bandits without them ever getting a launch warning. Game Over. :)

Either you were lucky or the other side was sloppy pilot. I said "in most cases" that doesnt mean you can not achieve a kill beyond 10 miles. It also depends on speed and altitude tho.

Literally. In STT pages, MSI trajectory symbols for data links will be displayed. This can increase situational awareness.
