best VR experience yet, but struggling with controlling the plane

I'm new to DCS and have just installed FC3. Using the A10A with my rift VR headset is one of the best VR experiences I have had so far. Cant believe how smooth everything else. DCS and Iracing really sell the VR platform.

One area where i'm struggling with is all the commands required to fly even the simple A10A, in iracing I use Voiceattack with the DRE module that allows you to use spoken commands to control different aspects and settings of the car. Is there a similar module that allows you to control the plane in DCS? I've read about Vaicom but what I understand this is really for controlling your wingman rather that your plane. I don't have a HOTAS, just a Thrustmaster 16000M.

Can anyone point me to anything I can use?

Thanks

Mike

Yes, Vaicom pro 2.5. Download it, it’s fantastic, it does what you say and oh, so much more but you can also add your own stuff to it. I use ‘Airborne’ for wheels up and ‘wheels down” for that. But loads more too

VoiceAttack profile for controls in DCS , if you are uncomfortable adding commands to Vaicom .

You can use voice attack just fine in DCS.

Also the clicky planes are easier than the FC3 planes in the sense you just click the real control in the pit rather than having to remember the key command or where you mapped it.

VoiceAttack is an essential tool for DCS in VR. It’s definitely worth learning how to program it. You’ll find it’s pretty simple.

Voice Attack along with Vaicom Pro is da bomb for DCS!

It is ! To such a degree that i would not consider a VR headset without a good mic-regardless of its other merits !
