Strange grass/clutter thing

So i read a post sometime in the last few days that - as an aside - stated that the poster experienced Greater (!) performance with the grass/clutter slider maxed . Didn't think too much about it at the time . But about 3 days ago , i joined the dark side and started flying the Huey , which called for grass/clutter . Was unable to compare the performance as everything is so different flying at 50 feet /50 knots .

 

After 3 glorious days of river runs through Tiblisi , and formating on another Huey for the Harbour Tour , i decided

To give the Hornet some love . Damned if i didn't experience the smoothest performance yet !

 

Sounds crazy , i know , but i have had no new updates since last flying the Hornet that I'm aware of , and i can always tell by performance if Oculus is updating , and that is the only forced update software i have .

 

YMMV , but absent further info , i lay the performance increase at the feet of the grass/clutter slider .

huh. I've always had it maxed, and I do tend to (it seems) enjoy better FPS.

I will try anything at this stage for smooth flight - will try maxxed out (usually have it OFF).
