[LATER IN EARLY ACCESS] Any news or updates on waypoint coupling?

When Wags first started putting out the academic videos he answered me in a YouTube comment and said that waypoint coupling would eventually be coming. Any updates on that? Low priority I imagine but is it waiting on other work as well?

let me bump your thread by asking: what is waypoint coupling?

Thank you. nice. I did not know that US military aircraft of that time are capable of doing this.

That's what the "FD" autopilot mode is for. Same for FD bombing mode, which is an AUTO release mode coupled with the autopilot.

I've seen on a post response from Wags quite a while ago that the Hornet is being modeled with MC OFP 13C.

The Hornets with OFP 13C had Coupled Auto Sequential Steering, so if that is still the case we should expect it at some time.

Like you said, it's a low priority system, but I'd like to know what we're waiting for to be completed before ED get to that, maybe INS?

Possibly, but anything other than coming from an "official" representative of ED would merely be speculation - so I'd wait until one of them gives a specific answer to your question - or you could possibly send a polite message to one of the moderators and see if they would be able to extract any information from the dev team regarding that topic.

Cheers,

Don
