F-14A Glove Vanes

As the title states - this is an inquiry to the glove vanes on the F14 and if they will still be implemented? I did some digging and found that HB did respond to another inquire related to this. But that response was years ago in 2015.

 

 

I'm wondering if this is still relevant and will be perused as an option for the F14? Or at least as an "Enabled option" Similar to the Mi-8 and it's IR suppression capability as well as other additional options.

My understanding is the glove vanes were only present on the A models and removed on future versions. That would leave me to believe HB might have them on the A variant whenever it is released. I know I remember a post with Cobra talking about it but that was back before release.

I’d just like to know a rough estimate when release will be. I hope before 2020

Yea, who knows. I haven't seen anything from Heatblur talking about the A release, but of course their are still many things to work on in the B so.

it was stated a long time ago that they would not be on their A model. I believe there are a few threads on this already.

Hi, just a quick confirmation, the plan is still to create them at least visually. Should that change, we will let you know. (I recently replied in a pm on facebook that we might not do them, but I was wrong, the above statement is still valid.)

This is good to know! The F14 is already packed full of small historical details so hopefully it doesn't change and make it the final draft. Even though it was subsequently removed in the later F14 variants. . It was a staple for the A variant for a short time and it's inclusion will keep it from being forgotten entirely (lol) while maintaining your high standards for fidelity.
