tflash Posted August 10, 2019 Posted August 10, 2019 Is it me, but I find it very strange that the missile lock tone is so faint! I simply cannot hear it, it is totally overshadowed by the cockpit noises and much, much more silent than the normal missile tone. I there a mod with increased volume somewhere? Could be my age, after a while you can hear lower tones better than higher ones, but honestly, this one is inaudible. I now shoot when I *don't* hear a tone anymore, but before you realize you loose some vital seconds! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Nealius Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Did you increase the volume knob on the armament control panel? That said, in the recent OB I find Sidewinder growl to be way too quiet even with max volume in many jets, not just the F-5.
Count von Altibar Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 It isn't the noisiest in the F5 for sure compared to other modules, definitely worth turning up the volume knob on the left side as Nealius said.
