Hi all,

Is there a way to change shadow color or density?!

Flying low over the terrain I can see my shadow projecting but it seems too sharp or too dark so I thought it should be tweaked.

Perhaps Teka Teka is the "Mr. know how" here...

Open the graphics.cfg file and find following:

}

ScreenshotQuality = 100;

ScreenshotName = "ScreenShots/ScreenShot_%03d.jpg";

ScreenshotExt = "jpg";

EffectOptions = 3;

Exhaust = 0;

ShadowDensity = 0.6;

PilotName = "No";

FogParam1 = 12;

FogParam2 = 1.1;

ObjectFogMultiplier = 0.6;

CivilianRoutes = ".\\Bazar\\Routes\\";

AviFolder = "Movies/";

PilotNames = 0;

The line ShadowDensity should be set around 0.4 - 0.6 less becomes too dark (in my opinion) and more becomes to bright

Or you can use LOCFG which I think is a wonderful tool

err... shouln't it be other way around? If density is 1 it should mean max (darkest) and 0 min (lightest or none)?

Such necromancy power... :D

DCS World uses now different files for graphics settings. I think one is graphic.lua and that line is not there anymore.
