ED Team BIGNEWY Posted December 17, 2019 ED Team Posted December 17, 2019 Hi I am unable to reproduce so far. Can you go to your dcs folder in saved games and clean out your fxo and metashader2 folder, allow dcs to create news ones on a restart. If you still have the issue please attach a short track showcasing the issue, hopefully it will show me what is going on. Thanks Forum rules - DCS Crashing? Ala12Rv-watermanpc Posted December 17, 2019 Posted December 17, 2019 (edited) Thanks for the reply! I already refresh these folders every time a new patch is installed but I did it again just in case...the problem persist, but I think I have found the culprit, it is MSAAx4 only. As soon as it is activated this happens so please activate it. The problem is with MSAAx2 the game looks really bad and I can't afford a 1,5 SSAA so... I have attached a track file showing very clearly the issue (at least in my case)...it tends to happen at 11:00h and you need to move a bit the plane and change a bit the camera around to make it happen...just let the track play and you should see it. Btw, here are my settings: thanks!graphic glitches 2.trk Edited December 17, 2019 by watermanpc Take a look at my MODS here
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted December 17, 2019 ED Team Posted December 17, 2019 Thanks for the track and options. I am still unable to reproduce on my system, can I ask when graphics driver you are using? Could it be something left over from reshade? Forum rules - DCS Crashing? Ala12Rv-watermanpc Posted December 17, 2019 Posted December 17, 2019 Thanks for the track and options. I am still unable to reproduce on my system, can I ask when graphics driver you are using? Could it be something left over from reshade? No worries! I'm using latest nvidia drivers (441.66) but it has been happening for a long time now. About the reshade...negative!, I completely removed it so I don't think thats the culprit...also, as soon as I disable MSAA or enable just MSAAx2 the problem is solved so it is MSAAx4 what causes this. I reported this months ago https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=248613 DCS MSAA option on nvidia cards seems to be the link. Yep, MSAAx4 to be more exact. Take a look at my MODS here
