QuiGon
Just checked. Yes USA units placed on REDFOR also will be able to use GPS Awesome, how about other NATO countries like Canada? Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing! Awesome, so is this new option even limited to certain countries (NATO countries maybe?) or is it available for all countries? QuiGon
Yeah RU or none NATO will note have this option applied. Alright, that makes sense. Sorry for the flood of questions, but it was a bit unclear to me how this new option will work exactly. So thanks a lot for clearing this up! I'm pretty happy with this new option as it does exactly what I needed, so thanks to the team as well for making this possible :) Edited December 12, 2019 by QuiGon Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing! Eldur
Hi, It is not a bug for REDFOR who do not use GPS, so you have to align manually. Just came here because of the link in the patch notes. Never ran into this issue but I'm amazed of the fact REDFOR doesn't use GPS, but presumably they use GLONASS instead. Very nice little detail there

Very nice little detail there Yes always been this way, but we now have this new feature that will allow NATO forces placed on REDFOR to still use GPS. Also GPS will not work for any mission with a date older than 1986. :) Forum rules - DCS Crashing?
