Bagpipe Posted September 25, 2019 Posted September 25, 2019 Hey just noticed a typo on the products page https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/products/world/ The viggen is advertised by leatherneck instead of heatblur....:megalol: just fyi edit: way too much time on my hands right now being signed off from working
QuiGon Posted September 25, 2019 Posted September 25, 2019 (edited) Well it was made under the Leatherneck banner originally. They then split up into two companies (Heatblur and Magnitude3/Leatherneck). Seems like ED forgot to change the text in the shop after the split up. Check out the announcement trailer of the Viggen and the company name in the beginning: Edited September 25, 2019 by QuiGon Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
WinterH Posted September 25, 2019 Posted September 25, 2019 They probably need to update that page as it also misses a lot of modules released since then. But yeah, both Viggen and F-14 were under Leatherneck banner back when they were started, and Viggen was still under said banner when it was released first if I recall correctly. Wishlist: F-4E Block 53 +, MiG-27K, Su-17M3 or M4, AH-1F or W circa 80s or early 90s, J35 Draken, Kfir C7, Mirage III/V DCS-Dismounts Script

Yeah, IRRC the split up happened after the release of the Viggen.
