It's very rare, 2 or 3 airframes at max. One from the video was the first one built. It was designed for a purpose of training Su-33 aviators but many of Naval Flankers aren't airworthy anymore so KUB development was canceled.

There's in between 10 and 15 functional Su-33 today!

Those boom operators in KC-135 are real jerks sometimes, I've seen few Falcons completely torn by booms.

It happens, pilots and boom operator need training to, they have to get train some how. I seen a F-16 where the boom gouge the back of the jet and broke a couple of antennas. IIRC, it was about 6 inches from hitting the back part of the canopy.

To whom it may concern,

I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that.

Thank you for you patience.

They flew with the 309th FS at Luke AFB. A block 25 squadron flying some of the oldest, if not the oldest F-16 in the USAF inventory (5000 hours+) Most models are circa 1984 give or take. So of course they won most dogfights.

With this, if my count is not mistakened, completes the fleet of the first 20 MLU's. The rest of the block 15's will be retired and boxed up for convertion this year.

Plane skidded at the runway during landing, the pilot ejected safely and the plane continued skidding untill it ran off the end sidways. The wing hit the ground riping off alot of wet soil. The Pilot was obliged to eject and this even is covered by standard emergecy procedures.
